Andrea Smith’s art is a color study of energy. Over the past 10 years, Andrea has used color to express personal energy of idea on canvas and linen. Her works to date have all been in oil. She mixes and blends her colors with her own energy to produce the visual abstract images that her art portrays. Andrea grew up in Nova Scotia. Her family has been the main influence of her creativity. Her past exhibitions have all been in Toronto, and include Delicia Art Haus and the Capital Theatre. Andrea lives in Toronto, Canada, where she paints, works and teaches yoga. She also writes a weekly yoga column called Stretch and the City, www.stretchandthecity.com.
